A night at Mighty

Last night, I decided to hang out with my friends even though I was really tired from Brian's birthday party. I smelled like BBQ but oh well....
We went to a club called Mighty in the Portrero Hill area. They played some cool music like some 80s and some of my college music. The music totally brought back some memories. Good times! By the end of the night, I lost my voice. I was ready for bed.

A weekend with friends....

I finally watched Superman on IMAX/3-D this weekend and it was awesome! Brandon Roth is so cool. He resembles Christopher Reeves so much! Don't you agree?
On Saturday, I celebrated Brian's 29th Birthday. I had so much fun! The weather was surprisngly warm...considering we were in Pacifica where it is foggy most of the time. Ed was the 40 oz champion!

Camping in Guerneville

For Memorial Day Weekend, my friends and I went camping. We drove up north about 2 hours from San Francisco to the town of Guerneville. We had a blast! Check it out!
Debbie and Carla with their huge ass burgers!!!
Shots with the girls
Carla, the bartender
Carla, the chef
We went canoeing down the Russian River. Canoeing down this river wasn't that hard BUT it was LONG. It was about 10 miles! Thank God we didn't flip over. There were several close calls though.
We also went to Korbel to check out the champagne.
Lots of champagne....
Debbie and I beer tasting...
It was a fun and memorable experience with my friends....never a dull moment. I even played football. If you want to hear about that story, you need to ask Brian. Ha!

Giants vs. Cardinals

It was Chinese Heritage Night at AT&T Park.... So in honor of the Chinese culture, orange caps with Chinese characters of the Giants were given out. Pretty cool!

A view from our seats...

Oh well, we lost and Bonds didn't hit a homerun.
Still Love the GIANTS!!!!

Thanks Nate for taking me to the ball game!!

A Weekend at Pebble Beach

A view of The Lodge at Pebble Beach. This was an awesome place to stay!! Lots of things to do here including the 17-mile drive which was so cool in our complimentary Lexus SC convertible. Thank goodness it didn't rain on Saturday.

Than
Me-Off the 17-mile drive is the famous Lone Cypress Tree.

The best part of this weekend getaway was my trip to the spa. It was sooooo good but expensive (as expected as a room here costs about $700 a night). I will never do it again but it was an experience I will never forget. Next time if I visit this place again, I will golf. I know I will be good enough to play by then. I brought my golf clubs but didn't even use them...not even to the driving range. What a shame! Well, at least someone golfed everyday!!!

Jeff & Alan's 30th Birthday Celebration

OK...Finally a new post on my blog. I've been lazy. So here's the update....

This past Saturday, I helped organize a birthday dinner and party for my two friends, Jeff & Alan. They both turned 30!! So this had to be a night of hard core celebration! We started our night with a delicious dinner at Indigo. We had the "Ultimate Wine Dinner" which was awesome. It came with an appetizer, an entree and dessert. And the best part of dinner was the all-you-can-drink wine!!!!! We had soooo much fun. Dinner was awesome. I highly recommend this place.

Pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes
Warm chocolate cake with raspberry whipped cream & fresh strawberries

Ahi Tuna tartar

Next stop...Gravity. After 2 hours of drinking wine (it was awesome wine btw), we went to Gravity to celebrate more. We had about 60-70 people on the guestlist. It was a great turn out. We had our own room with a separate bar. Our Bartender, Dave, was soooooo cool. He hooked us up with drinks for my friends and water for me. Hehehee... WE danced to great music from 80s to hip-hop. The best part of the night was spending time with friends. Everyone had a blast!!!

Hanging out with friends

Last weekend, we decided to hang out at Dragon Bar. They played a mix of 80s, today's music and early 90s which Brian & I appreciated a great deal. Lots of high school memories!

Two weekends in a row....hanging out in North Beach. For the First weekend, my friends and I partied at Dolce. The bouncers sucked! I guess it doesn't help when you're with 5 guys. We had lots of fun though.

Final Four

"UCLA expects nothing less than Final Fours and national championships — that's why you come to UCLA. It feels good to be part of something special like this. Hopefully, it's just a building block." — UCLA senior Cedric Bozeman.

This Saturday....the Big Game. UCLA vs. LSU

If you are a Bruin, you know how exciting this game is. I've been waiting for over 10 years for UCLA to return to the Final Four. I hope they play a better game than last week against Memphis. I am SO excited about the game. I can't wait. I will definitely watch the game with my fellow Bruins. Let's do the 8-clap!!!

GO BRUINS!

GO Bruins!

UCLA last-second comeback victory against Gonzaga.

Wow what a game! UCLA beats Gonzaga 73-71. We're in the Elite 8!! Woohoo! Go Bruins!!!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Alex, me, Matt, & Brian (The PT Crew)
St. Patrick's Day was awesome! My friends and I started the celebration around 6pm. Our first stop was downtown, San Francisco. Front St. was closed off to traffic and everyone was walking in the street. Wonderbread 5 was performing some great music and even some 80s music!! Our next stop was North Beach. We had more beer and met up with Brian & Debbie. Jeff also stopped by to chill with us for a little bit. Our night didn't end there. We then walked over to the Sake Lab and Dragon Bar on Broadway. We danced and had more drinks but this time they were shots and hard liquer! You know that this is not a good combination with beer. Let's just say lots happened that night and we all had a great time! Everyone got home safely. We ended the night with pizzas!

Tahoe & Reno 3/3/06-3/5/06

me and Than

Finally I was able to snowboard this season!! It's been long overdue. My friends and I went up to Tahoe and Reno this past weekend and it was so much fun. I took snowboarding lessons again since I haven't done it for almost 2 years. It wasn't that bad. I fell a lot but it wasn't as hard as the first time I went up there. I am still sore but the pain is worth it. I liked Northstar so much more than Alpine. The snowboarding equipment was nice and pretty new. Northstar seemed more modern and the staff was friendly. I liked my snowboarding instructor, Andy. He tooked the time to help me master the "S" thing. I still don't really get it though. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to hang out with Brian, Debbie and Ed too much. Than and I were busy taking lessons. But we did take some awesome pictures together. I will post them up as soon as I get a chance. Following a great day on the slopes, we headed back to Reno. We went to Sushi Pier for dinner. For about $18, you can eat all the sushi you want. I love Sushi Pier... the sushi is awesome. I ate so much I almost died. We went gambling afterwards. We didn't do so great. Everyone was bummed. So the next day, we decided to gamble again. I won money but my friends didn't. We think it's Than's fault. He's bad luck. The only reason I won was because he wasn't around. All in all, we all had a blast. The snow was great and the company was terrific!!
