The annual Chow Christmas party on Christmas Day was another memorable one. There was LOTS of food including Chinese, Japanese, Korean and good old-fashioned American food. My favorite was the dessert. Yummy! Don't forget the alcohol drinks that my cousin, Simon, was making throughout the night. He was the host and his goal for the night was to get people drunk or at least buzzed. He wanted me to make my favorite shot... the notorious "Brain Hemmorhage" since he didn't know how to make it. But he forgot some of the ingredients. Darn! He was, however, able to get himself drunk AGAIN. Every year he does this to himself. He never learns. This time he really did it. He dislocated his jaw....from throwing up? He wanted me to relocate it because I'm a physical therapist but this was way beyond my scope of practice. I urged him to go to the ER and he did. They relocated his jaw. What a way to end the night!
We had our annual white elephant gift exchange. I got number "8" out of "15". It sucked! I almost got the Chevron gas card. But because of my crappy number, someone stole it from me. Gosh! Well, I ended up with Shrek 2 DVD. Not bad.
Overall, it was nice to see the family and see it grow every year.

Merry Christmas!!

This is my first REAL Christmas tree!! It is sooo much better than the fake ones. I love how it makes my living room smell like....the holidays. Thanks to my co-worker, Brian, who helped me deliver the tree to my house. It was really nice of him. Well, it is Christmas Eve and I can't wait to open all those gifts under the tree tomorrow!

This was a random night. I didn't expect to go out on a Wednesday night especially on a rainy night but my co-worker, Matt invited me to this FlirtyFlirty VIP Holiday Party last minute. I was done with my Christmas shopping and had nothing else to do. So I decided to go and I invited Brian, Carla, and Debbie to come along. It was so much fun! We had free drinks all night. But we had to be careful because we had to work the next day. Well, Matt didn't care....He had no work! Gosh! There were lots of holiday snacks (gingerbread man was my favorite), CDs, and lots of cool gifts like our glow-in-the dark necklaces. I guess the most interesting part was the Liquid Latex Models from walkingart.net. They were walking around half-naked! Well, their top was covered with liquid latex paint. Obviously the guys loved it! I just thought it was interesting. I even got to know one of the models (the asian chick). Her name is Jin and she told me that this was her first gig. She wasn't nervous at all. She was having a blast. Overall, we all had fun and left the party sober. Wow!

College Friends....Friends Forever

Partying with Rosie in NYC. We did a lot in NYC during Labor day weekend. We shopped in SOHO, hung out at Times Square and partied in the Meat Packing District. We even handled the NY subways all by ourselves!! But you got to love the tax-free weekend! It was a weekend I will never forget. It was definitely CRAZY!! Rosie, remember our hotel in the alley? Hahaha...

Old and New Friends

Gena and Shin decided to hang out with my friends at the Lion Pub in San Francisco last Saturday. We had the best mojitos!!! Shin actually was drinking a beer. I guess he had to after I kicked his butt in bowling. Ha! We all had a blast!!

This was a crazy night!! This was THE weekend of the big football game (Cal vs. USC). There were so many USC fans in San Francisco!! It felt like I was in LA again. It was kinda nice cuz I miss LA. I used to live down there. I went to UCLA. Gotta love the Bruins. My friends and I decided to go to Velvet Lounge that night to party before the game. BUT someone in our group lost his ID and couldn't get in....so we all decided to head over to the marina district and hang out at the bars. We hung out at City Tavern and had a few drinks. Then we headed over to Eastside West. The line to that place was soooo long. We estimated probably a 45 min. wait. My friend, Debbie, and I decided to make new friends in line. Our "new" friends happened to be near the front of the line. So, we got in in 15 min!!! It's great to be a girl. Heehee...We met up with more friends and had more drinks. It was so much fun. Unfortunately, my friend Brian almost got into a fight with a SC fan at the end of the night. He got so wrapped up in the spirit of the game that he "forgot" to take me home. :) It's cool, Brian. I understand. All in all, it was a crazy fun night. Too bad the next day SC crushed Cal. It was a horrible site....trust me I was there.
